Episode Summary

House Republicans passed twelve appropriations bills for the first time in nearly 30 years, marking a tentative return to basic congressional function. Trump-era enforcement actions coincided with sharp polling gains among Hispanics, falling murder rates in many cities, arrests tied to anti-ICE violence, increased ICE and Border Patrol funding, higher self-deportation incentives, and cartel extraditions from Mexico. Internal shakeups were reported at the FBI, voter rolls continued shifting right in Arizona, and New York courts ordered a congressional map redraw that could affect a GOP seat. The U.S. exited the WHO as Democrats were depicted as fractured and defensive, with media commentary hinting at policy permanence beyond Trump and elevating J.D. Vance as a future standard-bearer. Cultural and economic signals included warnings of college closures, rising consumer sentiment, scrutiny of AI energy use, and investigations into vaccine incentives. Internationally, Europe faced energy and security strain, Germany signaled regulatory reversals, Davos-era institutions appeared to be fading, Alberta floated separation from Canada, Nigeria remained dangerous for Christians, and Gaza governance proposals challenged the UN.

Episode Notes

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) Good to see, as I have been harping on the dramatic collapse of Congress as a functioning institution. Now, House Rs passed not one, not two, but TWELVE appropriations bills. It was the first time in 29 years the House did so. This is an absolutely necessary start to regaining Congressional power, but it's only a first step.

2) Nabbing a Venezuelan murder-monster will do that: Trump's popularity among Hispanics surged 28% and 24% in two new polls.

3) There have been multiple firings of FBI agents who worked the Patriot Day (J6) cases, along with others. There appears to be a much needed quiet purge going on inside the FBI.

4) Murders plummeted mor than 20% in most U.S. cities.

5) Panican Doomspooger Whine: "They don't arrest anyone." Reality: Several were arrested in the anti-ICE church terror event. I particularly love this one: the toodlespooter that begged AG Pam Bondi to arrest him? She took him up on it But, because Blind Lemon Don is a black homosexual, he was protected from arrest by a magistrate who, gee, had earlier released a terrorist who put a $45,000 bounty on Pam Bondi. This so-called magistrate himself needs to be in gen pop with a very large member of the Aryan Brotherhood introducing him to the fine points of the penal system. Meanwhile, Blind Lemon Don, who should be excited by any penal system, has gone dark, purged his social media account and hired a suit. Let's hope it's not Harvey Specter, or Bondi doesn't have a chance. Oh, and Cities Church, which was invaded by these leprous ballsnagglers, is filing civil suits against them. Good. In the Name of Jesus I sue thee!

6) There are fewer people stupider or more dangerous than the puspimple of an AZ AG, Kris Mayes, who urged people to "stand their ground" against ICE. That's the way people end up not standing their ground but being buried beneath it.

7) Speaking of AZ, check out the powerful shifts in voter registration here. Every single county moved to the right even more AFTER the 2024 election, including blue counties.

8) Lee Zeldin, head of the EPA, ended all testing on mammals by 2035. Save the doggies.

9) The House passed a DHS funding bill that includes new ICE and Border Patrol funding. Of all Rs, only the evil and moronic Masshole voted against it. What a poltroon.

10) A New York court ruled that the state must redraw its congressional map due to District 11, which is held by an R. This will be appealed, and no telling if it will be hashed out by November, but it could cost the GOP a seat in a narrow election.

11) The good news keeps coming, as the U.S. exited the World Health Org. You know, the WHO. Remember just three years ago when I predicted the WHO would collapse?

12) The New York Slimes needs a fact checker, cuz the doltish spudderjumper they have is flat WRONG on all facts.

13) Now the MN walking hernias attacking ICE agents are going after the dogs. I say, "loose the dogs of war."

14) When you read between the lines of leftist rags like Politico, which says Trump will have a third term even if he doesn't run because of the permanence of his policies, they are tacitly admitting that J.D. Vance will be the next president.

15) And here is another couple of pieces, where, if you read between the lines you can see that DemoKKKrats are panicked. "Liberal Patriot" blared, "Warning Lights" for DemoKKKrats." And an earlier piece from "Liberal Patriot," it warned that DemoKKKrats are engaged in "cultural denialism."

16) Winter storm coming and it's gonna be a cold one. Many places right now are colder than Hillary's, er . . . heart.

IN ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIEN NEWS

17) Again, this is why I say that MN is ground zero for breaking ALL fraud, including voter fraud. You see all the hideous groups are fomenting agitation there, commies, Black Looters Matter, you name em. The "Axis of Anarchy."

18) DHS is more than doubling the self-deportation bonus.

19) Me-hee-co sent 37 cartel members to the U.S. to face justice.

IN CULTURAL NEWS

20) The President of Brandeis says up to 25% of colleges may close. Boo hoo. This is what happens when you cease to perform your primary purpose of actually educating people and instead indoctrinate them.

21) A new theory about the Ark of the Covenant is that it was built to show God was not contained inside, but was bigger than any man-made idol. Here I thought it was mainly a Nazi killer.

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

22) Microsoft's CEO says they must do "something useful" with AI or they will lose "social permission" to burn electricity. Ah, not exactly there, tuddledumps. We have lots of electricity. What you will lose is access to consumer-paid free electricity to you. Pony up, little man. Irena Slav also notes that "OpenAI may go bankrupt by 2027."

23) Consumer sentiment surged last month. Oops. You mean things are getting better?

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

24) Alberta wants to separate from Canada.

25) Really bad news for Europe, as solar and wind have overtaken fossil fuels, meaning Euros will be cold, and in the dark. As Irena Slav points out, the "Great Unraveling" is here. Reuters says the Euros just now realized they traded dependency on the Russkies for dependency on US after the Greenland flexing.

26) At Davos, the Head Hun, Fredrich Mertz, said that Germany is going to do a U-turn on regulations and throttling entrepreneurs. He almost sounded like Trump, as Jeff Childers pointed out. More Childers: "the week's biggest story was something even more astonishing, encouraging, and revolutionary than any turnaround in two-tiered justice," namely the apparent acknowledgment that Davos, NATO, and the WHO are finished. As Childers shows, it's not just that it's happening but that the Eurotrash are treating it like, "Of course it is."

27) An international aid group says that Nigeria has ranked at "maximum violence" against Christians for eight years.

28) With his "Board of Peace" to run Gaza, Trump may have also slain the UN.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

29) A study of sports political affiliation shows that football and basketball players are DemoKKKrats, baseball players are Republicans.

30) Bill O'Reilly having health problems, giving up his podcast.

IN MEDICAL NEWS

31) TX AG Ken Paxton---and future U.S. Senator---has launched an investigation into vax "incentives" wherein Big Pharma is bribing doctors.

AND FINALLY . . .

32) Wolverines are returning to CO parks. No, not this one . . .

. . . and not these . . .
